In March we took a two week trip to Cape Town. For both of us it had been several years since visiting the mother city. The aim of this trip was to take as many photographs as possible, and get in some time with family and friends.

Part of the fun was in the planning. Drawing up the itinerary according to where we would be staying, how we would get around Cape Town, etc. We relied on public transport a lot while we were there, and in a future post we will tell you all about that.

In our planning we decided that the first place we needed to visit was Onse Huisie at Bloubergstrand. Our flight was fairly early in the morning, so we would be having breakfast in Cape Town. 

If you don’t know where Onse Huisie is, it is not very far from The Blue Peter. It is right opposite the beach and the food they serve is absolutely delicious.
